ufficiale annuncia un grave lutto nel mondo del Cinema dei Sordi.
Facundo Montenegro si č spento a Washinton D.C. negli USA, il 12
Dicembre 2005, alle 2:15 del mattino, dopo una lunga battaglia
contro il cancro. Docente del dipartimento di Televisione,
Fotografia e Digital Media presso la Gallaudet University e la
Chatolic University, ha dedicato tutto il suo impegno e i suoi
valori al mondo del Cinema dei Sordi, ispirando i suoi studenti
alla sua filosofia “Deaf Film Form”. Grazie alla
passione che ci ha trasmesso, abbiamo potuto creare Deafmedia;
rimarrą sempre nei nostri cuori. Se ne č andato un grande uomo e
con lui i suoi consigli e il suo incoraggiamento. Caro Facundo, per
noi rimani Unico. Riposa in pace.

news for the Deaf Cinema
Our official website is announcing very sad news for Deaf Cinema.
Facundo Montenegro died in Washington D.C. on the 12th of December
2005 at 2:15 a.m., losing a long struggle with lung cancer. He
taught at Gallaudet University, in the Department of Television,
Photography and Digital media and at Catholic University. He
devoted himself and all his values and energy to Deaf Cinema. He
truly inspired his students with his philosophy, the “Deaf
Film Form”. Thanks to his enthusiasm, we managed to create
our company, Deafmedia. He will always stand by our side. A great
man has gone away, and so are his advice and his precious
encouragement. Dear Facundo, you’re unique to us. We hope you
have found your peace.
